Event: 2017 Roadsape Awareness in Primary and Secondary School in Lagos State Nigeria.

In a bid to ensure safety of children on the road, Road Safety and Accident Prevention Initiative Roadsape will kick off 2017 Road Safety Club programme in Primary and Secondary schools in October.
Last year was successful as we visited twenty five school in Akwa Ibom State Nigeria and esterblish RSC with over 500 students as Road Safety Ambassador
Fifty Schools in Lagos State Nigeria has been targeted during this year RSC program. ROADSAPE wants to use the club to sensitise the children on road safety tips.
RSC will serve as a veritable tool in catching children young to become responsible road users in the future.
This will go a long way in inculcating in them the positive road safety rules and how the children can also become road safety ambassadors in their homes, schools and wherever they find themselves.
According to Mr Buhari Adebayo Ikawokolaso The National Coordinator of Roadsape, The essence of the club in the school is to teach the children the essence of safety in the school and on the road and while they are with their parents in the car, they can correct bad road users, which will spur positive changes. Also as the future drivers, there is the need for the children to become sensitised on road safety rules that will help them to save their lives and that of others.

In achieving this project $3000 is needed. We plead for your Support towards achieving this project, no amount is too small as every cent count. Let all join hand to make our road safe.
